I have been interested in Ecology and Conservation for many years. This has influenced all aspects of my life, from picking up litter whilst walking my dog, to my choice of degrees.
I now want to share this passion with as many people as possible, to try and save our native wildlife so it can be around for future generations, preserve biodiversity and prevent climate change and further species loss.
Welcome! I’m Rosie, a Scottish lass trying to make sense of the world. I love gin, frosty mornings and my dog.
This is my own corner of the internet to share my journey as a Wildlife Trainee and aspiring Ecologist. I have recently been awarded a traineeship with the Berks, Bucks and Oxon Wildlife Trust (BBOWT). I would like to use this blog to showcase the stellar work that BBOWT are doing and my own experiences as I continue to learn about the environment and how best to protect it.
I hope to share my passion with everyone, providing interesting tips and facts on how to get wildlife back into Britain.
Have a gander, I can’t promise to be interesting, but at least I can try!
